Afterschool Assistant

Kingdom Preschool is an Ofsted rated “good”, full day care setting in Whitfield, Dover with good motorway links to Canterbury and Ashford. We are a not for profit, Christian organisation that provides excellent, affordable childcare between the ages of 2-11 years. We have a multi-functional, large premises that has great scope for growth and we are looking to expand our staff team again. We are looking for an After School Club Assistant to work 5 days a week during term time between the hours of 2.30pm -6.30pm. There is also scope to offer an all year round position for the right candidate as we operate a holiday club too, if you required more hours.

The candidate:

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and be able use their own initiative, plan, deliver and evaluate children’s activities, create exciting play opportunities and share our commitment to safeguarding children. The role will involve supporting the day to day operation of the Club, working with other staff to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment and also to observe and plan for children’s individual needs and requirements. Full training will be given in this role for the right candidate. Full, clean driving licence is a must as you will need to be able to use our company vehicles for transporting children and staff on a daily basis.
